FAQs
How many weighing modes does the scale have?
The Exagram Pro features three weighing modes: normal, pour-over, and espresso. Each mode can weigh grams, ounces, or milliliters. The pour-over mode also has an exclusive ratio program.
How does the ratio program work?
The ratio program has been designed to be the easiest way to make a pour-over. The scale memorizes the ground weight, and once you start pouring, it will display the ground/water ratio. For the first pour (blooming) we suggest to target a ratio of 3. The scale will then automatically start a countdown to let you know when you should resume the pour and reach the final ratio. Most baristas suggest to target a final ratio between 15 to 19 for a great tasting pour over coffee. For a delicious pour-over, a very convenient step-by-step card is included. Derived from the barista champion pour-over recipe, we will show you how to make the best pour-over in 5 successive pours.
How does the espresso mode work?
The espresso mode on the Exagram Pro includes an auto-tare and auto-timing functions that activate as soon as you start brewing, providing precise measurements down to 0.1 grams. This mode ensures accurate tracking of extraction time and weight, allowing for consistent and perfectly crafted espresso shots every time. Plus, the included carrying box can elevate the scale to reduce mess from channeling, making the Exagram Pro an essential tool for any espresso enthusiast.
Is there a warranty?
We warrant the Exagram Pro against defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover replacement of the silicon pad and protective case.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes of course. Please note, we are not responsible for any taxes and/or duties accumulated during the shipping process (see our shipping policy). The shipping base is located in Hong Kong.
