Is Minipresso GR2 suitable for me?

How good is the extraction?
The extraction capability of the Minipresso GR2 is impressive, offering a max pressure of 18 bar (261 psi), similar to traditional capsule espresso machines. It uses a manual pump-driven system, ensuring the water remains at the recommended extraction temperature for optimal espresso quality. By minimizing the distance between the water tank and the coffee chamber, the Minipresso GR2 maintains the ideal temperature (152°F, 67°C in cup) and produces a rich, compact crema. Additionally, the Minipresso GR2 features an adjustable basket, allowing you to use either 8g or 12g of coffee grounds, giving you the flexibility to customize your brew's strength and flavor. This careful attention to the brewing process and customizable options guarantee a high-quality espresso shot, making the Minipresso GR2 a reliable and efficient choice for coffee enthusiasts.
Does the pumping require a lot of force?
Not really! The whole process is much easier and faster than to inflate a bicycle tire with a hand pump. Depending on the coffee grind, the compression force required may vary from 6 to 12 Kg. However we recommend to hold Minipresso GR2 with two hands during the use. This method needs less arm strength.
Does Minipresso GR2 heat up the water?
No! In order to drink a hot espresso you will have to fill the water tank with hot water.
Does Minipresso GR2 need maintenance?
Out of respect to the machine, a minimum maintenance is necessary. This will insure a long life cycle to Minipresso GR2. We recommend to clean, under running water, the cup, the outlet head and the shower head after each use. The water tank only needs to be dried with a cloth. Do NOT place Minipresso GR2 in the dishwasher.
Is Minipresso GR2 safe?
In compliance with LFGB and FDA regulation, all substance used in the materials confection are safe. Plastic materials, in contact with food, used in the manufacturing of the Minipresso GR2 are listed PBA free. During the development, we paid a lot of attention in the materials choices to guarantee health safety, no alteration of coffee taste and parts durability.
Does Minipresso GR2 have a warranty?
We warrant the Minipresso GR2 against defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
